Hollis Brown has performed over 6,000 home inspections since 1997. He is licensed by the State of Virginia, and the State of Maryland. With over 40 years of residential construction and home inspection related experience; Hollis Knows Homes.

A long-time certified member of the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI), Hollis sat on the national board as the Speaker of the Council of Representatives. He is also active in local chapters in both Virginia and Maryland, having served as president of the Mid-Atlantic chapter. In addition to ASHI, he is also a member of the Virginia Association of Real Estate Inspectors (VAREI.)

As the owner of the Home Inspector Training Academy, Hollis teaches his Master Class: How to Become a Home Inspector, to new students every year. He has trained thousands of home inspectors both locally, and nationwide. In addition to expert training, Hollis is a nationally recognized public speaker.
